In plain English

What the 10-year warranty actually means for you

Most roofers in Colorado offer one or two years of workmanship coverage. Ours runs ten, it is written down, and it can follow you to the buyer when you sell.

10 years, in writing

Coverage runs 10 years from the completion date of your project — not 1 or 2 years like most contractors offer.

Transferable one time

Selling the house? The warranty can be transferred one time upon notification to All Phase Roofing, which is real value at closing.

Labor and material included

If the leak comes from how we installed it, we cover both the labor and the material to fix it.

Backed by a company that is still here

Colorado license #27223, a shop in Fountain, and 25+ years in business. A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it.

Conditions

What we ask of you

These are the conditions written into the warranty document. None of them are unusual — they exist so problems get caught early, while they are still small.

  1. 01

Notify All Phase of any leak, defect, failure or deficiency within ten (10) days of discovery. If it is covered, we have the right to immediately inspect and repair it. If it is not covered, we may inspect and repair it with your written authorization at your expense.

  2. 02

All Phase has the right to inspect the roof annually during the warranty term.

  3. 03

Payment per the terms of the contract is the sole consideration for this warranty. If payment is not made in accordance with the contract, the warranty is void and has no further effect.

  4. 04

The owner or owner's agent must inspect the roof semi-annually during the warranty period and notify the contractor of any conditions requiring attention.

Exclusions

What the workmanship warranty does not cover

A workmanship warranty covers how the roof was installed. Storm damage is a different thing entirely — that is what your insurance policy is for, and we handle those claims too.

  • Damage to the roofing, property, building or contents caused by fire, settling, distortions or other failure of the building, and natural causes including floods, lightning, windstorms, hail, ice damming, tornadoes, earthquakes or other extraordinary or unusual events.
  • Vandalism, penetrations or damage to the roof by third parties, foreign objects or agents, including plant or animal life.
  • Damage caused by alterations or additions.
  • Damage caused by structures erected on the roof, including but not limited to antennae, satellite dishes or decorations.
  • Damage caused to the roof by any use outside of its intended purpose.
  • Color changes or fading.
  • Any interior damage, building contents or related costs associated with leaks, regardless of cause. Such damage is covered by the owner's property insurance policy.
  • Damage caused by mold or any other agent associated with the roof installation.

FAQ

Warranty questions homeowners ask

How long is the All Phase roofing warranty?
Ten years from the date your project is completed. It covers leaks caused by improper application or ordinary weather conditions, and we supply both labor and material to stop a covered leak.
Is the roof warranty transferable if I sell my home?
Yes. The warranty may be transferred one time upon notification to All Phase Roofing, so the coverage can follow the home to its next owner.
Does the workmanship warranty cover hail damage?
No. Hail, windstorms, lightning, ice damming and other extraordinary weather events are excluded from the workmanship warranty — those are insurance claims. We inspect the damage, document it with photos and meet your adjuster on site.
What do I have to do to keep the warranty valid?
Report any leak or defect within ten days of discovering it, have the roof inspected semi-annually and tell us about anything that needs attention, allow All Phase to inspect annually, and keep payment current per your contract.
Does the warranty cover interior damage from a leak?
No. Interior damage, building contents and related costs are excluded regardless of cause and are covered by your property insurance policy. The workmanship warranty covers stopping the leak itself.
